Many of the users wants to hide their data from others or to save personal data at any place where others cannot access to it.In this article, I will discuss a trick which enable one's to hide any partitions of their local disk without using any freeware or other third party software.Usually people hide their data by using folder option, but unfortunately, this method is neither a convenient nor a secure, because these days, this trick is accessed to every one.
Without wasting your time, am going to public this simple trick.Basically this trick is based on simple programming of command prompt and it is easy to use.
Hide local disk partitions:
In order to hide your partition, follow the given simple steps. If you found trouble to hide your partition, simply leave a comment, I will try my best to solve your problem..
- A new window of command prompt will appear.
- Now write Diskpart and press enter.
- After typing this word, a new window of diskpart will pop out.
- Wait at least 5-10 seconds and write list volume.
- The list of your hard disk partitions
will appear.
The volume of local disk D is 1, than:
- Write Select volume 1 and press Enter.
- Remove letter D, and hit our favorite button Enter.
Now we can see that local disk partition D, is hided successfully..
How to show hide partition:
- Without closing the window, type Select volume and hit enter.
- Write Assign Letter D.
- Hit the enter button.
Your hard disk will successfully restore, This trick is convenient and it does not affect your data at any cost.Kindly note that, you can also change the drive letter by typing Assign letter (any alphabet) after selecting volume..
