How to root Nokia X, X+ and XL

Two Years ago, A famous mobile phone company “Nokia” unveiled its first flagship android based Smartphone. Nokia named these android based Smartphone’s as “Nokia X series”. Nokia X series consists of the following Smartphones. 
These are: 
  1. Nokia X.
  2. Nokia X+
  3. Nokia XL.
These mobiles run Google based android softwares, which also supports apk android files to install android Applications. But unfortunately,these Smarphones build with custom nokia based android software.This nokia based software is best for beginners but it lacks many important features.The main problem of custom nokia software is that it lacks google applications like Google PlayStore,Gmail,Hangouts,Google map etc,. This software is much classic which disappoint the advance users.In order to modify this custom software, we need to access its system folders to change it according to our needs.

Why do we need to root the device:

In order to modify the software, we need to access its system files which is done by rooting the device.The rooting of device remove the warranty of product but it is necessary to access the system files.Warranty will restore when you unroot it. We need to root the device for the following purposes:
  • Access system files.
  • Modify the software.
  • Improvement of performance.
  • Changing of default designs.
  • Adding of new features.
  • Installing lock applications.
  • Custom ROM Installation.
Basically, the term “Root” is used for the access of system files. If we get access to the system files, we would be able to change its every feature according to our needs. Rooting of every smartphone is possible, but in this article we will only discuss “How to root Nokia X, Nokia X Plus and Nokia XL”

Method of rooting the android device:

There are many methods available on Internet “How to root android softwares”. But these methods did not help the users. Because the users don’t able to understand these type of articles. In my personal experience, I have also tried many methods but failed to root the device. One time, I have accidently bricked my “Nokia X” Phone.Than Finally, I found the method.

Root your Nokia X, Nokia X Plus and Nokia XL:

In order to root your nokia devices, you should have to do the following things:
  • USB Cable 
  • Nokia X manager (Download Here
  • Nokia X series USB Drivers. 
  • Make you sure that USB Debugging is turned on in Setting>Developer option.
  • Please Make you sure that your mobile is not less than 50%. 
  • Don’t remove your battery when you applying the rooting process.
  • You can also root your nokia x without pc but it is a complicated process.
Now follow the easy procedure to root the device:
  • Connect the mobile with PC by using USB Cable. 
  • Open “Nokia X manager” Software. 

  • Click on “Root” Tab. 
  • Now,Follow the instruction appear on your laptop's screen

  • After this your mobile will restart and it will automatically open the following software.
  • Click on Install and find the “SuperSU.zip" file and click on it.
  • Than a new screen will appear.
  • Now you have to slide the option to root the device.
  • When the operation will done.
  • Your mobile will successfully rooted.
  • Restart the device.
  • Now you can view the SuperSu software installed on your nokia smartphone.
  • Now you can access every system files and you can also install Custom ROM for your Nokia X like Lewa OS, Android Kitkat etc,
